DIY :: Watercolor Mug

Queens!
Are you ready to jump on the DIY train but don't know where to start? We have the perfect project! This DIY watercolor inspired mug is an easy + simple way to kick the winter blues and brighten up your life for spring!

This DIY requires four items - most of which you might already have in your home. Here's the how-to of the project:

Supplies:
- Paint brush
- Tissue paper (choose as many different colors and patterns as you'd like)
- Mod Podge
- White or light colored ceramic mug (our Good Morning Gorgeous one is perfect!)

Step 1:
Brush a layer of mod podge over the bottom half of your mug. Be sure to avoid the area where you sip.

Step 2:
Tear pieces of tissue paper and place them on your mug - there' s no right or wrong way to do this, just whatever looks best to you!

Step 3:
After all of your tissue paper is in place, brush a final layer of mod podge over the tissue paper. Be sure to smooth out any air bubbles and make sure all edges are sealed.

Leave to dry and hand wash only.

The options are endless with this project! Give a set to your mom as a gift (we're sure she'll love it!) or make a few to add a little touch of 'you' to your kitchen!

Our favorite part is being able to sit back, relax and say, "I made this!"

Happy D-I-Y'ing, Queens!  XOXO
