The sun is shining, the birds are chirping and the snow is [ slowly ] melting! An early spring? We sure hope so! The stores have been filling up with spring fashions and we NEED to wear them as soon as possible! Spring 2016 is full of trends that range from pastels to pleats and we're showcasing some of the tops trends we've seen in the stores!

Following Pantone's colors of the year [ serenity and rose quartz ] it's no surprise that pastels are prominent in this spring's styles. Taking your favorite everyday colors and softening them into pastels: soft pinks, corals and blush tones. Pastel tones work great as season transitional colors because they're more subtle than the bold ones you save for summer!

Tie-dye fashion is HUGE this season! We even did an entire blog on it that you can read here! The 70's fashion is making a comeback is now more chic than ever. Using softer colors than the rainbow styles from your childhood, 2016's spring tie dye style can be found in everything from tops and tees to dresses and tunics!

Following tie . dye, another 70's style making a comeback is bell sleeves. This style sleeve is being used on both tops and dresses to add the ultimate boho vibe to your look. Using light fabrics or lace it gives styles an extreme feminine touch!

Mixed with high necklines the shoulder cutout trend is both feminine and stylish. This style makes for a perfect transitional piece if you don't want to break out just the tank tops quite yet. They're simple, elegant, breezy and fun!

We never thought we'd see the day when wide legged pants came back but it's here! And we are more obsessed than ever. Paired with the high waist they offer a sleek and slimming look that elongates your legs! Wear a leotard and you can have the look of a sleek tucked in top without always having to tug and re-tuck all of the time!

On the topic of bottoms, ankle styles are also gracing the fashion world! Not quite a capri style but shorter than your average skinny. Seen in both denim and cargo styles, the ankle length style looks especially cute paired with flats or even lace up sandals. They're long enough so they don't shorten your leg line but short enough to still show a bit of skin between your pant line and shoes. A slimming silhouette with a peek of skin at the ankle!

Denim on denim on denim. There's no right or wrong way to style it! Some might be afraid of the denim on denim fashion but don't be!

Another popular style making a comeback. The Victorian Era was filled with ruffles, high necklines, patterns and eye catching fabrics. Adding a bit of modern twist, we've loved seeing how old style meets new!

Which styles are your favorites, Queens? We're partial to all of them! Stop into the stores to find your absolute favorite Spring fashions! XO
